Dr. Ihab Labatia is quadruple Board Certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Pain Medicine, Interventional Pain, and Spinal Cord Injury Medicine with a fellowship in Spinal Cord Injury Medicine. Dr. Labatia’s extensive medical education, unique background, and wealth of experiences provides patients with the best possible opportunity for relief. There is no ‘one size fits all’ approach for patients with chronic pain, as each case is unique and different. Our goal is to return our patients to their best quality of life to enjoy simple tasks like mowing the yard or playing with grandchildren.
Our office is equipped with an X-Ray machine, EMG machine, complex laboratory and minimally invasive procedure suite. These accommodations provide our patients with convenience and speed of care in the safest and most appropriate setting.
Dr. Ihab Labatia has earned the highest level of medical education at prestigious universities and medical institutions, continuously advancing his knowledge and practical application to benefit his patients. Dr. Labatia graduated from Ain Shams School of Medicine in Cairo, Egypt after growing up in West Africa. He then completed his internship at New York Flushing Hospital of Cornell University in New York City and residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the MetroHealth Medical Center of Case Western University in Cleveland, Ohio. Then, Dr. Labatia pursued and completed a Spinal Cord Injury fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in Pennsylvania. Dr. Labatia is Board Certified in Pain Medicine, Interventional Pain Management, Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, and Spinal Cord Injury. Dr. Labatia currently lives in Lexington with his wife and son.
